go glossier

Finally got to try Glossier after seeing so much buzz. It's definitely a social media favorite with all of the cute packaging and the quirky stickers that come with it (major brownie points, Glossier).

So far, I've tried the Mega Green Galaxy Mask, and the Glossier Phase 1 Set - and will probably be doing a little review of them in a beauty video! I know a lot of you have been asking me about my skincare routine (and trust me, it's nothing exciting...)

For now - check out my latest. It's finally springtime fine and I've got a few dresses for you to wear.

h&m conscious collection

Photos by Emily Malan

A week back in New York since Paris and I'm already aching for that beautiful city. Does Instagram  life get any better than that? No. No it doesn't.

Well this comes close - I partnered with H&M to show y'all another incredible Conscious collection - this time with this gorgeous too-long-but-don't-care trench coat and sequin dress that I haven't decided whether it was appropriate for a wedding.

Always keep it casual with my favorite suede ankle boots and a semi-put-together French braid - but I'd definitely rock this with some Chucks and a cute lil' backpack.

Any way you spin it, they're both wardrobe must-haves - so you guys better set the date. This collection will be in select stores and online on April 16th!

a week too early

Photos by Emily Malan

I wore this outfit just a week too early - with snow still on the ground and cold winds still in the air. But it only seemed fitting that on the warmest day of the year so far, this outfit goes up on the blog today.

Happy Spring everybody. Here's hoping it actually stays.

ruffle my feathers

Photos by Ashley Jahncke

Ashley's always been and always will be one of my favorite photographers - and I'm beyond lucky to be able to work with her on both a personal and professional level. She makes you feel insanely comfortable in front of the camera and off. It doesn't hurt that she's one of the sweetest people too.

So we're at the tail-end of fashion week - but don't fret! Working on more videos for y'all when it's not hellishly cold outside.

another new year | westfield

Photos by Lordale Benosa

If you guys don't know already, I'm 100% Chinese. And no, I don't speak a lick of it. But the Lunar New Year holiday and the time that I spend with my family has and always will be close to my heart. So this year, I've partnered up with Westfield Garden State Plaza to bring you a little closer to Lunar New Year - whether or not you celebrate it. Because let's be honest with ourselves - red envelopes filled with money and sweet treats are a universal language.

I'm not one for festive outfits, and if I'm going to be spending Lunar New Year with my family, I'm opting for comfortable classics over everything. I paired a sporty tee with a pair of black flared jeans (and guys - flares are back with a vengeance! Trust me!) and a printed coat.

And if you're free on the last day of February - come swing by the LNY party at Westfield Garden State Plaza for some good ol' Lunar New Year fun. I'm talking food, performances, red envelopes - I mean Westfield is pulling out all the stops this year.

finally

I chose to wear a floral maxi dress and barely-there heels to a day at Central Park, so what? I bought this beauty from Forever21 a while back when there was still snow on the ground because I knew there would come a time when it would be sweltering and I'd want to wear absolutely nothing. Threw all my things in a newly acquired Proenza (which you'll see me wearing all the time - cost-per-wear, y'all!) and vegetated in a little, quiet nook that impossibly exists in the middle of the chaos that is New York City.

face palm

Last weekend was my birthday weekend, and I can wear sneakers if I want to. Especially if they're the most incredible sneakers ever.

no-chella

Kicked off an eventful weekend of #nochella (shoutout to Julie) with festivities in Brooklyn, eating just a little too much per usual and not feeling too bad about it (case in point: burnt marshmallow ice cream with homemade waffle cone. Yumtown.), aimlessly roaming around empty neighborhoods and drinking it all up. The spring weather, that is.

And oh, this blogging hiatus will never happen again, you guys. A lot's happened in the last few weeks, follow me on Instagram to make sure I haven't died!

velvet dream

Lulu's velvet overalls  |  Zara crop top (similar)  |  leatherology tote  |  H&M x Isabel Marant slip-ons

Missing California and its consistent, beautiful weather. Come on, nice weather just makes you happier, doesn't it? Opted for an easy outfit, fuss-free with overalls, a breezy crop top and comfortable slip-ons for hiking up mountains and doing tourist-y things.

More photos from LA to come! But really though, Christmas is right around the corner, what's everyone doing for the holidays?

hello tsubo

Too in lust with this new pair of TSUBO Footwear Rylees that just came in - it's in a classic oxford style, revamped in the best kind of gorgeous oxblood shade. I wish you guys could feel the leather too -  supple with minimal lines and pretty damn excellent craftsmanship. What will I be wearing with this? Stay tuned, y'all!

I've been looking all my life for a skirt like this and was debating for while on splurging on the Helmut Lang version but when I received this skirt in the mail (and had to get the black one too!) - the fabric and the fit turned out to be just as luxurious as anything I could buy for $140 for a fraction of the price. The skirt can be dressed up or dressed down with a T and a blazer, it can be dressed sideways, backways, any way you think of. And it's in grey - possibly my favorite color ever.

An easy one with a white shirt with a sheer panel, a pair of lightweight psuedo-denim overalls and a pair of shining white Chucks and quick outfit shots while passing by some beautiful sunflowers.
