h&m conscious collection

Photos by Emily Malan

A week back in New York since Paris and I'm already aching for that beautiful city. Does Instagram  life get any better than that? No. No it doesn't.

Well this comes close - I partnered with H&M to show y'all another incredible Conscious collection - this time with this gorgeous too-long-but-don't-care trench coat and sequin dress that I haven't decided whether it was appropriate for a wedding.

Always keep it casual with my favorite suede ankle boots and a semi-put-together French braid - but I'd definitely rock this with some Chucks and a cute lil' backpack.

Any way you spin it, they're both wardrobe must-haves - so you guys better set the date. This collection will be in select stores and online on April 16th!

wang x hm

This is what we've all been waiting for, right? Tomorrow's the big day and at 8am, the doors will open and you'll all be able to shop the coveted Alexander Wang and H&M collection! Honestly, H&M always kills it with their basics and Alexander Wang is the king of 'em - so it makes sense. I wore this shirt as a dress, got it in a medium and layered a lace romper underneath so I'm not completely naked in 50 degree weather.

Anyone waking up bright and early for this collection?

the last bits

I refuse to believe summer is actually gone. Holding onto the last bits of it with accidental off-the-shoulder tops and bare feet.

run, don't walk

Photos by Alvin

We all know that H&M's design collaborations are always the talk of the town (well, in New York, that is) - and the lines for these collections are out the door and through the roof. But this time around, their Studio Collection is the topic of conversation. And guys - it hits stores today. So damn, take a long lunch or go into work late and run, don't walk, to your nearest H&M and get your hands on something / everything. I layered my mesh top under a backless dress to make it just a little more dressed down/up depending on the shoes I wear.

And definitely follow along my Instagram because that dreaded just kidding time of year, New York Fashion Week has finally started - and I'll be at the H&M A/W 2014 Studio Collection launch with Johnny Wujek and Kate Mara (hey you House of Cards geeks!). They'll be curating the H&M windows around the city so make sure you keep a lookout.

Now stop reading this blog post and run over to the stores, guys!

little white dress

I had never been to the Cloisters before this, but everyone should definitely try and check it out whenever they have a free day. It doesn't even seem like it's a part of the city. Anyway, I'm not one to be fussy about what I wear to a park. All that matters is comfort.

daily

Never not wearing / carrying / loving these things. And that's pretty amazing, you know. Finding things / people that you love on the daily.

living in it

Living in this shirt. Living in these shoes. And you already know I'm living in this bag. Done, done and done. Not much to say on a Monday morning, is there?

a break from the norm

Photos by Alvin

Took a break from my usual boyfriend jeans and ragged tee to bring you a more ladylike outfit with an actual pair of heels - a pair of comfortable two-seasons-ago-but-still-incredible Jeffrey Campbells at that - and a full skirt from H&M. Take a good look, guys. This won't happen too often.

soak it up

Soaking up some vitamin D on the Bowery rooftop (thanks Ted) on a beautiful Sunday afternoon after a long Saturday night in everything oversized (sorry, boys!) and my second (and certainly not last) pair of Birks.

epitome

This weekend's attire for another cold and rainy week in New York. I love my grey hues to no end and this outfit is the epitome of me (ha!), pairing highs (when I can afford them, duh) and lows and grey everywhere. Case in point: Proenza and H&M, y'all.

Also, contemplating a YouTube channel filled with videos of sweet nothings - yes no maybe so?

two way bomber

One bomber, two ways. It's as simple as pairing prints with solids and solids with prints and styling both outfits with white skirts? I'm predictable and am not mad at it. Hope y'all are enjoying your Sunday!

Sported a sequin skirt with a graphic T and my favorite coat (duh) way back when bare legs were appropriate. So when's spring coming, New York?
