never a wrong time

gifted Lulu's leather crop top  |  ASOS plaid skirt (similar here, here and here

It pains me to tell you that this Lulu's crop top is sold out in both black and white - but not to fear, what's amazing about Lulu's is their ability to hit the nail on absolutely everything that they have on their site. You can't go wrong, really. If you're looking for an everyday crop top, they've got it. If you're looking for a little bit of cutout, they've got that too. I'm glad that the weather's finally cooling down a bit for me to sport a wool midi-skirt without suffocating and a crop top without looking a little nuts. Although, is there ever a wrong time to be wearing a crop top and a full skirt?

Edit: Spoke too soon, the ultimate leather crop top is back!

good deals: the asos sale

Untitled #12

velcro black flat sandals

Just a few things that I'd be spending my paycheck on - and they're all such a good deal. Because floral rompers and scarf printed culottes should be in everyone's wardrobe.

ASOS knows how to do a good sale. AND they're giving us 20% off full price items? Man, they love us.

dynamic trio

Action photography by Landon of FashionGoggled

thrifted denim shirt/jacket  |  H&M grey tank  |  Isabel Lu leather shorts (similar)  |  gifted Style Queen necklace  |  thrifted Kenneth Cole leather backpack  |  thrifted DIY spiked sneakers

My comfortable outfits seem to always consist of either leather, grey or denim. Anyway you put it, those three are my secret weapon. Woke up late? No problem, throw on any combination of these three and you're good to go. The leather backpack just makes the day immensely more practical. This whole outfit - though might be Alexander-Wang-esque (as so aptly noted by Landon) - is leaning a little bit more towards that nostalgic high school laziness where shorts and a tank aren't frowned upon. My dynamic trio (duo, trio, same difference) is always reliable and almost always a sartorial success. Almost.

SKY HIGH MARY JANES, THE LEGAL KIND.

Photos by the ever awesome Landon

Yes, it's those infamous aztec pants again; the pants party is back! But this time, with a puke green (wrong choice of words?) sweater and a lace shirt peeking out of the collar for a touch of class. These wedges caused quite a problem for me today though. I almost tripped on more than one occasion on stairs, sidewalks, you name it.

I'm also loving the cut of this jacket, the lapels are such a unique cut, slouchy but the entire jacket is still structured and fits like it was made for me. New favorite? I think...yes.

Remember to follow me on these sites, I'm on them more often than I should. Especially Instagram, that's my guilty pleasure.

BLACK ON BLACK ON BLACK

(H&M fur lapel, Gap leather jacket, thrifted metallic shirt, thrifted floral collar silk shirt, Big Star USA leather jeans, Romwe bag, black motorcycle boots)

So excited to be wearing these Big Star USA leather jeans! I've been looking for a pair of leather pants and I've seen them on multiple blogs, so when I saw these babies, I had to have them! They're surprisingly comfortable and isn't constricting at all. Someone in the office mentioned that they looked more like silk than leather. Agreed?

I must say though, I was a bit hesitant to wear leather pants and a pair of leather shoes AND a leather bag, but I'm glad I decided for it. What do you guys think?
