Floral's always been a big print in my closet (it's definitely Landon's thing though), but I think I've finally found it. I've found my floral niche in life: sunflowers and daisies all around. Last weekend, I had a yard sale, which I definitely didn't advertise too much this time around, and when that failed due to the sweltering heat, we headed to Brooklyn to do some good ol' thrifting. I picked up this beauty and it's just the perfect swing, dropwaisted silhouette for the summer, perfectly airy and it drapes just right.

A few inches shorter, a couple shades darker and I'm back from Costa Rica guys! Here are a few snaps from the trip. I wore this Civil Clothing snapback because I've figured out that hats really do protect your face (even when worn backwards) and obviously had to pack my Westward Leaning sunglasses and Twistbands along with me for awkward, half naked but obligatory poolside. The resort was beautiful and the food (the guacamole is incomparable) was unlimited so don't be too alarmed if a couple pounds add onto my face. 

Costa Rica was just too beautiful to limit to one post. Stay tuned for another!

That first picture was a gem, there was a lady passing behind me with a huge mattress over her head and Landon proceeded to start cracking up, so I did too. When I first got this swimsuit from Civil Clothing, I was apprehensive about how I'd be styling these two super adorable kittens. But it was 90+ degrees on this day, so it wouldn't have been more perfect to wear a swimsuit outdoors after slapping on a pair of thrifted, DIY distressed overalls.

Note: This is pre-Costa Rica and pre-haircut. So now I'm a little tanner and a little fatter from that damn buffet and unlimited guacamole. Yeah guys. I got a haircut. Prepare yourselves.

I've been waiting for the first few days of spring so that I could wear these ankle-breaking babies. I bought these flatforms last year and they've been sitting on the floor of my room, collecting dust and catching glimpses from everyone that passes it by. Yes, they're a look. They're definitely a look. But paired with a go-to camo tee and an embroidered white jacket, they fall quite perfectly in the mix.

I'm starting to believe that guys' clothes are starting to look better on me than girl's clothes. More often than not, I find myself wandering around in the men's section anyway. I've had this leather bomber from my dad for a while, because let's face it - as much as I love him, my sweet little Asian dad would not fare well in public if he was trying to rock this leather jacket again. Good thing we're about the same size (not quite sure if that should be a good thing for me) and the leather's just broken down to a soft, buttery feel, perfect to pair with the coolest tank from Civil Clothing for this New York chick that really - deep down - just wants to be in California for a while.
