ruegembon x kristenglam

And the happiest Monday is one that comes with a giveaway (obviously). I chose the Rue Gembon Daya necklace from their Atelier collection for one of you lucky ones because it's simple and would seriously go incredibly well with any outfit, no matter what your style is. You can't go wrong with a little bit of rose gold!

Follow @ruegembon and @kristengracelam (if you aren't already) on Instagram and feel free to comment on the giveaway post here to let me know that you've entered.

The giveaway ends in a week and I'll be announcing the winner bright and early on Monday, January 27th, 2013!

Good luck everyone!

It's still not that warm in New York, so I've been involuntarily wearing sweaters and blazers to get me by. A jacket that I'm sure to be wearing a lot is this tweed blazer that I thrifted on Saturday. It's such a great lady-like piece, makes me feel all fancy and entitled, which are two traits that I'm not comfortable with - so to dress it down, I threw in a T-shirt (with a great open back), some distressed boyfriend-esque jeans and a pair of those rose gold Zara heels that you've all probably seen everywhere. It's got these great rose gold straps and 3 inch heels that make them so damn walkable - all hail Zara, they can seriously do no wrong!

Love ya'll!

ALOHA HAWAII

Thrifted Hawaiian shirt (actually H&M though - similar here)   |  c/o David Kahn skinnys  |  Zara metal capped flats (this one is super affordable)  |  H&M cage ring (similar here)  |  obligatory arm party

The subtle acid wash prints of these David Kahn jeans clashes a bit with the crazy Hawaiian shirt, doesn't it? I kind of like that pattern chaos going on though - threw on some gold and silver jewelry and voilĂ ; my own take on a Hawaiian tourist look. This shirt I love, it's so Alexander Wang on a budget.

David Kahn is starting to become one of my favorite brands, it baffles me how perfectly their jeans fit my legs - they definitely go way outside of the box in terms of prints and colors. Kudos!

I have a collaboration with a vintage retail site soon and a couple of cool reviews for you guys so stay put. Tomorrow's Wednesday, aka hump day - we can make it through the week, guys.

Toodles!
