embrace spring

Photos by Alvin

This past weekend, this routine aimless wandering in Brooklyn paid off when Alvin and I bumped into a friend very randomly in the middle of nowhere: Herman, who was just biking around Williamsburg with his camera (as he does - guys, his photos are real cool, so check it out @doobybrain). Obviously I had to take a photo of his insanely hip bike and he snapped a cool photo of Alvin and I, here and here.

Oh and guys, it was 55 degrees yesterday, isn't it time to put away those puffer coats? People were giving me second glances because I was barelegged and just had a light parka (albeit beautiful) on. I mean come on y'all. I smell spring and it's time to embrace it.

Edit: It's 40 degrees outside now. Bye world.

FREDDY

Photos always by Landon

Wore snakeskin jeans and a striped sweater, unknowingly coming out looking like Freddy Krueger. This outfit was kind of perfect for a full day of work, the loafers give me just the right amount of height but still manages to give the comfort that I need to survive until 10 at night, the printed jeans - which are all the rage right now - add a faux texture to the outfit and the striped sweater? It's a striped sweater! How much more classic can you get?

I'm really looking forward to real New York spring weather - I just can't wait to wear shorts, skirts, dresses in sweet, flimsy fabrics.

BULLETPROOF ARMOR OF GOLD.

Picked up this pretty little gold thing the other day at H&M and I've been dying to wear it. Finally decided to pair it with everything simple, except for my leopard loafers, which I've had for a while, before the loafer trend (or the leopard trend!) was cool and hip.

I've also been wearing this army green vest religiously, over anything and everything, until everyone was sick of it. If you follow me on Instagram (@kristenglam) or Twitter, you'd see this baby popping up almost everyday.

If you're loving this outfit in any way, you know what to do!
