Currently writing you from my bed. No, not from NYFW or anything exciting like that, but my bed, with a 101 degree fever none the less. But yep, still got a blog post for y'all, and one of my favorites at that! 

You need an immense amount of patience when you're thrifting, but when someone hand-selects vintage pieces for you, it's just that much better. Lavai Maria is a vintage store in Williamsburg and after trying and loving everything there, I finally decided on this sheer slip skirt. It's such a great layering piece that transitions so nicely into fall. Stay tuned for another Lavai Maria crop top to make its appearance on here. God I've forgotten how much I love vintage.

Literally one of my favorite vintage finds thus far. I love anything that's anomalously shaped, thank you thrift gods! And do you guys remember that C. Wonder post from a few weeks ago? Well I'm rocking those rad shark tooth earrings and I can't stop wearing them. I had no idea killer animal teeth were so in, but then again. Who doesn't love Shark Week?

You guys already know that I love a good daisy print in my life. This was an amazing vintage find and hugs me in all the right places. And hey, I don't own too many clutches in my life, but this Me Char one is going to be a definite staple for my nonexistent nightlife.

Yes, I've done it. I've gone to the dark side - I'm wearing jeggings. But when I saw this pair - the color, the fit - I almost died of happiness. I had a photoshoot with Wiseling today at a vintage store near work. This fabulous feature is on reworking vintage clothing that can sometimes be intimidating. I did my best with the pieces that I selected and the girl, Karin, that photographed me was all too sweet. We went to an afternoon macaron and coffee date afterwards, which was well-documented for all my poor Instagram followers - will let you guys know when the post goes live!

OVEREXPOSED

I was debating on whether or not to use these high exposure photos, but decided for them - had to show ya'll this skirt! I thrifted this skirt a while ago and have been waiting to wear it this season. It's made of some magically soft woven silk that has got to be the work of a classic, Ralph Lauren. The print was what drew me in, an aztec feel with a sort of Greek influence (eh, my opinion). For those of you that are looking for pretty tissue-thin tanks, H&M might be the place for you. I found this gorgeous tank in an in-between mint and turquoise color for less than $20 - I should've hoarded every color in the store!

Oh spring break, please slow down. You're zooming by.
