Platinum jewelry is one of the best investments, because it never goes out of style. Last night I had the amazing opportunity to visit Barney's after dark - with Refinery29 and Platinum Jewelry to show off one of my favorite trends for jewelry, style and life - minimalism.

I chose a few stacking rings, some a little bit more dramatic than the others. I also put on a thin chain to go with the whole minimal look - less is more, I always say.

Shini from Park & Cube is one of my ultimate blog obsessions, even before I started this lil ol' thing. The lifestyle photography speaks volumes, but once you check out her style - obsession wouldn't be an accurate word to describe how inspirational she is. Shini turns the most mundane objects into beautiful, extraordinary photographs and her personal style is hard to describe. She pairs interesting silhouettes with gorgeous prints and patterns. She's also mastered menswear, sportswear - did I mention that she's also got some pretty incredible DIY projects?

SEEING STARS: AN OLDIE BUT A GOODIE - THE CHRISTOPHER KANE GALAXY COLLECTION

I've been lusting after Christopher Kane ever since I saw his Spring 2009 collection with the gorillas, I fell in love obviously. But when he came out with his 2011 resort collection and it was everything galaxy, I almost died.

I only have one galaxy piece right now but I'm planning to build my collection little by little and one day, I'll own at least one piece from Kane's fabulous collection. It's one of my life goals!

It doesn't help that the beautiful Alexa Chung is wearing his dress, it just makes me want it more. She's a style icon!
