If you guys follow me on Instagram @kristengracelam - you probably have already seen my early morning shoot with Angel (and the best prop guy, Alvin) last weekend when New York blessed us with 50 degree weather, a tiny glimpse of spring to come. This weekend will probably be filled with family dinners and so be it. The snow's coming and all I'm gonna wanna do is sit indoors with Netflix and Dexter.

And the happiest Monday is one that comes with a giveaway (obviously). Black is always a default and let's be honest - it looks good on nearly everyone. Opted for a different texture with these sequin harem pants from Lulu's and went for comfort over all with a slight heel and an oversized sweater.

Blush toned goodness from these past few weeks that you might've missed on Instagram. The perfect sequin maxi (that I never knew I needed) from Line & Dot, cronuts - the real deal that I waited on line for at 6:15 in the morning - from none other than the Dominique Ansel Bakery, a gorgeous Naked Princess bralette from the Bollare preview and a couple of dark hot chocolates with Jaclyn that was the perfect mid-day half an hour pick-me-up.

Another one of my crazy obsessions, and this time it's with really asiatic, oriental prints. If you follow me on Instagram, you've already seen this one and this jacket right here - which I've worn all week. It's an incredibly perfect lightweight jacket for the transitional summer to fall weather that we're experiencing in New York.

a sweet weekend

This weekend, if you follow me on Instagram, you might have noticed a little black and yellow honey bee / butterfly in my photos and the ridiculously adorable use of the hashtag #mj honeyspots whenever it appeared. What was it? Well the mystery stops here.
In celebration of Marc Jacob's Honey perfume, I used #mj honeyspots to take you around on a few of my favorite spots for my typical (alright, not so typical...) weekend! It always starts off at home, with a sweet, innocent little pup face, then it was off to a NYFW event to meet a few out-of-towners (even though I was just recovering from #fashionweak) and taking a little breather in my favorite neighborhood. Then it was off to an early start on Sunday on the road to Syracuse for Juice Jam to see Kendrick Lamar with a few faves and #mj honeyspots was there every step of the way.

it just got personal with c. wonder
Better late than never to show you a few photos from the C. Wonder event at their store a few weeks ago. Their store never ceases to amaze me with all their color, prints and bright lights. It's like every home decor photo you've ever seen on Pinterest, but better - in real life. It was great to hang with some friends and just relax and shop after work. I also got a pretty rad monogrammed bag that'll probably show itself on my Instagram sooner rather than later. #itjustgotpersonal
Thrilled to announce that the new C. Wonder website is chock full of amazing things including online monogramming (try to breathe, Kristen). C. Wonder literally has everything from home decor to jewelry to tech accessories - if they have a pineapple shaped cutting board then chances are, they've got pretty much anything you could ever dream about.

Some new goodies that came in during the week really hits home for me. Stickygram transformed my beloved Instagram photos - and ya'll know how obsessed I am with Instagram - into the most adorable magnets. Now I can have my friends' faces on my refrigerator and such. Amazing. This Cheap Monday skirt from the lovely ladies of ShopKoshka - check out the awesome foil packaging that it came in - and a rad Hurley Record Scratch bikini from SwimSpot have me praying on my knees for an early spring.

a few of my favorite things
The first of many posts about my current obsessions, right now it's all about my miniprints from Social Print Studio and my sheer embellished chiffon maxi from ASOS that lives a double life as a gorgeous curtain. These miniprints are going to be such a stocking stuffer, you get 48 of these Instagram prints for a mere $12. It doesn't get any better than that. Especially when someone just hit over 1,000 photos on Instagram, I have a ton of photos to choose from. A huge thanks to Heidi over at SPS for introducing me. She has a blog too, and an Instagram that I can't stop obsessing over.

last night
The best package arrived the other day at my office, sitting right on my desk was a sweet, sweet package and note from my California counterpart, Stephanie of Honey N' Silk, who just recently founded Last Night. Last Night dishes out gorgeous dresses, each piece hand-chosen by Stephanie for her customers, at unreal prices.
