vintage dress  |  Nine West sandals  |  C. Wonder earrings

Literally one of my favorite vintage finds thus far. I love anything that's anomalously shaped, thank you thrift gods! And do you guys remember that C. Wonder post from a few weeks ago? Well I'm rocking those rad shark tooth earrings and I can't stop wearing them. I had no idea killer animal teeth were so in, but then again. Who doesn't love Shark Week?

You guys already know that I love a good daisy print in my life. This was an amazing vintage find and hugs me in all the right places. And hey, I don't own too many clutches in my life, but this Me Char one is going to be a definite staple for my nonexistent nightlife.

eleven paris

Before I forget, the winner of the J.Crew giveaway is A. Quach (not sure what your first name is), but I'll be shooting you an email for you to claim your prize! Thanks to everyone that entered and don't worry...there will be more giveaways where that came from!

Huge fan of plaid shirts, always have been and always will be. This chiffon one from Forever21 was under $20 and just so light and perfect for the summer. And this tank, can we talk about this take for a sec? Literally, one weekend, I lived in this tank for a few days. I threw it on to sleep, wore it the next day with a pair of boyfriend jeans, and then threw on a skirt at night. Thanks Lauren, you're such an awesome chick :) Hello favorite tank ever!

PS: The Eleven Paris collection is sick. Totally perfect for NYFW, amiright?

disposable fun outdoors

Reminiscing about last weekend's white water rafting trip with these dudes and seriously contemplating taking more disposable photos from now on.

Don't forget! The J. Crew giveaway ends on Monday, so there's still time to enter here

Happy weekend, guys.

taking on triple stripes

Marc Jacobs Tshirt (another cool MJ print here)  |  thrifted dress (but really eyeing this T by A. Wang dress)  |  JewelMint + Forever21 necklaces  (awesome one here!)

Horizontal stripes aren't always the most flattering print, but done right - it could be phenomenal. I thrifted both the Tshirt, which is a mens shirt in a size large (just goes to show, don't be scared of a little extra room!) and the double layered slip. I know you're noticing a pattern over here on my blog with the consistent stripes because once I get into something, I just can't seem to stop!

Also, the J.Crew giveaway is still going on y'all! Enter for a chance to win a $200 gift card and head over to J.Crew's Style Sessions in their Soho location at 99 Prince Street from 6pm to 8pm!

Choies blazer  |  Reformation dress  |  Kate Spade crossbody (similar)  |  Zara shoes  |  Ivory + Mason sunglasses

This blazer, I can't get over it. The simple stripes can literally go with everything in my wardrobe. I dressed down a pretty short slip with the blazer and it's instantly everything-appropriate.

So stoked to tell you guys that J.Crew and I are giving one of you the chance to win a J.Crew gift card! It's actually amazing timing since you're also invited to J.Crew's Style Sessions at their Soho location this Thursday

Bomber jacket, red crop top, high waisted skinny jeans, leather bomber - this outfit seems pretty much straight from the '50s, amiright?

grown-up ballerina

Floral princess

Coast full skirt
C. Wonder shark tooth earrings
Anthem Wares satchel
Anthem Wares Iosselliani ring
Anthem Wares Maria Black ring
Ivory + Mason sunglasses
Zara heels

I'm usually not for tulle and fluff, but come on, what girl doesn't want a tutu-esque skirt in their wardrobe? This one's just a little bit more grown-up and paired with a casual floral cropped sweater instead of a skin-tight bodysuit and ballerina shoes traded in for a pair of pointed pumps.

PS: These Ivory + Mason sunglasses haven't left my face, you'll seem them in the next post! But 'til then - tell me your favorites from the site!

never a wrong time

gifted Lulu's leather crop top  |  ASOS plaid skirt (similar here, here and here

It pains me to tell you that this Lulu's crop top is sold out in both black and white - but not to fear, what's amazing about Lulu's is their ability to hit the nail on absolutely everything that they have on their site. You can't go wrong, really. If you're looking for an everyday crop top, they've got it. If you're looking for a little bit of cutout, they've got that too. I'm glad that the weather's finally cooling down a bit for me to sport a wool midi-skirt without suffocating and a crop top without looking a little nuts. Although, is there ever a wrong time to be wearing a crop top and a full skirt?

Edit: Spoke too soon, the ultimate leather crop top is back!

one dress a day

photos via WWD

So stoked to tell you guys about a new e-comm site called One Dress A Day whose concept is so fitting, by launching one dress a day, it makes the chances of you wearing the same dress as someone else so slim - and we all know how us girls can be when someone's wearing the same outfit as us. The site will have every dress you'll need for any occasion - cocktail dresses, party dresses, everyday dresses (hint: there are a few sequin ones that are absolutely divine!)

The site officially launches on August 26th, but as a sneak peek and a brilliant teaser, their first dress went live today and it's chock full of sequins and the most flattering silhouette, making it the coolest LBD ever.

I know I'll be counting down the days until the site launches, but 'til then - I'll be going on the site to get my hands on this dress before it sells out!

3. "Heart" 6 2b bebe items.

revamped classics

thrifted sequin top (similar)  |  Gap shorts  |  H&M sunglasses

Normally I try and stay away from horizontal stripes and sequins - stripes are never the most flattering and sequins are just a little too loud for everyday wear. But together? Man, it's magical. The sequins perfectly dress-up the horizontal stripes and the boxy cut of the shirt paired with a pair of boyfriend shorts makes this outfit one of my favorites in the mix.

playtime playsuit

Photos by Landon

This weekend's gonna be a busy one, pre-wedding jitters and some major preparation. You can be sure I'll be getting ready in full-on hair and makeup at 6am on Sunday in this Rachel Pally playsuit and my favorite Bollare tote (which I've been carrying absolutely everywhere). What I love about it is that I can easily slip in and out of it, unlike other jumpsuits and rompers, and you best believe that there's no one that does it better than Rachel Pally when it comes to unbelievable comfort. Eyeing this gorgeous cutout dress for my next purchase.

Happy weekend y'all!

adore me in lace

Photos by Landon

Normally you wouldn't catch me in anything pink or remotely girly - don't get me wrong, I love my occasional sequins and lace, but rarely do I ever wear lace on lace. With this Label by Five Twelve dress, the lace top actually dresses it down, which ironically works, doesn't it? It's probably the only red, lace, ladylike dress I have in my wardrobe and it deserves all the praise.

Also, speaking of lace and all that goodness, AdoreMe is hosting their first Google+ Hangout with a few awesome New York bloggers. We each picked a lingerie set - and though we won't be rocking it in front of the camera for you, we'll be doing the next best thing. We'll be wearing outfits inspired by the lingerie look, because lingerie inspired outfits are the thing these days, especially with the heat!

Make sure you follow us on Instagram for awesome behind-the-scenes bloopers and shots of the Hangout because trust me, there'll be a bunch of good ones.

Shoot me some awkward awesome questions on Twitter with #AdoreMeHangout!

So if you've got an hour to kill on a Monday night (which I know you do!), RSVP and come hang with us!
